Are you committed to INVITING your peers to Christ? GTGYM gives you all the resources you need to support you on this journey.
The great truth about sharing our faith is that we don't have to have all the answers. All we have to do is be willing to be used by God and share what we know, share what has happened in our lives (our story). Your own experience with Christ is the most powerful tool… Step 3 in the Friendship Evangelism process asks you to verbalize your story to your friends, to tell them why you're a Christian. This is your testimony. You have a testimony! No matter if you were raised in the church or you recently became a Christian, you have a story! Your testimony is awesome because your life has been changed by God's love through Jesus Christ.
At the GTGYM Resource Table you can find two resources that will help you INVITE your friends to Christ.
1. Friendship Evangelism Cards
These Cards will help you through the process of INVITING your friends to Christ through a relationship with them. You can write down five friends and pray that God will give you the opportunity to grow in a relationship with them and show them Christ (kind of like a hit list).
2. The 2nd Greatest Story Ever Told
This is a Worksheet/CD resource that will help you define your testimony (or story), it's a great one! Once you define your testimony, you'll be more confident about sharing it with others.
We encourage all students to accept the Friendship Evangelism Challenge and to share your sotry with others. I honestly believe that God will open up opportunities for you to share your story. Also, I would love to hear any stories you have of how God has given you ways to share with your friends.
