GOSPEL JOURNEY - WIN AN iPOD or a DVD PLAYER!
Today we begin our GOSPEL JOURNEY CHALLENGE! Students receive points by the following: Attending Sunday Morning ACCELERATION (10am : Loft) and Wednesday Night ENCOUNTER (7pm : Downstairs), Attending Super Sunday (Oct 29th @ 3pm), Attending Windermere (Nov 17th - 18th), and inviting friends to ENCOUNTER and Windermere. Whoever has the most points at the end of the Journey will win an iPod Shuffle 512. Whoever comes in second will win a new DVD Player. Encourage your student to be a part of the challenge! Family Connection Meetings
With the new season happening, we want to get students plugged into ministry as soon as possible. Although this can happen without a family connection meeting, we feel it has the greatest impact. During a family connection meeting, parents and their teens meet with one of our ministry team members and discuss talents and gifts to decide what would be most effective ministry for the students to take part in. Contact Pastor Ua soon to schedule a family connection meeting.
Special Events Coming Soon
SUPER SUNDAY!! October 29th @ 3pm we encourage all students to attend CLASS 101. CLASS 101 is our introductory program. It will teach your students about the essentials of the Christian faith, the structure of our church and the structure of GTGYM. Again, October 29th @ 3pm - 6pm.
November 17 - 18 will be Windermere 2006. This year Bebo Norman will be doing the music and Allen Pointer will be the speaker. The cost of Windermere is $45 if registration is turned in by the October 25th ( THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT ). See www.goodtogoym.org for more details.
Also, coming up in February 9 - 10, 2007 will be Dare 2 Share GAMEDAY. This year D2S will be located at the Scott Trade Center in St. Louis. The cost of D2S is $40 plus a pro-rated cost for hotel stay on Friday night. Estimated final cost will be about $55-60. See www.goodtogoym.org for more details and promotional videos.
